A Qantas flight to New Zealand was disrupted on Sunday when travelers were reportedly 'intimidated' by the t-shirt of one passenger, on which were emblazoned the words: "Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die."
The slogan, worn by Sydney-based man Wynand Mullins', is a famous line from beloved Eighties film The Princess Bride, and if you aren't familiar with the movie maybe YOU should prepare to die. Only kidding you guys! Seriously though, the movie is widely considered a classic, so who in heck's name are these unfortunate wretches who don't know "Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die."???
In any case, Mr Mullins described the incident to New Zealand publication Stuff explaining, "The flight attendant said to me: ‘Are you able to remove it because some of the passengers are quite intimidated by it'. Really? People are afraid of a tshirt? Maybe he is a terrorist? I thought it was all a bit silly. The person next to me was laughing, because they knew the movie." Mullins wasn't removed from the flight, however the flight attendant reportedly attempted to find him an alternative t-shirt.
This is a picture of Mullins with the shirt in question. I've never seen its equal.
