WELL, that didn't take long.
Within an hour of the announcement that Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, was pregnant, the spoof Twitter accounts were born.First to deliver was RoyalFoetus who kicked off with "Hello world. All shall kneel before me."
"MY SPOON IS CURRENTLY UMBILICAL. SILVER AWAITS ON EXIT," the foetus soon shouted to the world, along with: "Hands up if you're still developing motor skills"
IAmRoyalBaby arrived around the same time, but hasn't been as active and has fewer followers.
But both were beaten to the punch by RoyalFetus, which launched on to Twitter the day after Kate and William's royal wedding in April 2011. The account has been inactive since, until today, when it roared back into life with: I EXIST!".
